Yesterday I foolishly stated that ‘chocolate sea Yesterday I foolishly stated that ‘chocolate season was over’ and many of you replied in the comment section to set me straight. Of course, it is always chocolate season, and so here is my most decadent dessert of the past year: Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Brownie Skillet. It is a mash-up of my favorite brownies and brown butter chocolate chip cookies, and it is perfect for  those “is winter over yet?” kind of nights. Recipe link in my profile!

This is a wonderful Citrus Bundt Cake from @yossyarefi ‘s first book Sweeter Off the Vine (a favorite!) that I made with blood oranges. I made @zoebakes Peanut Butter Pie! And it (of cou I made @zoebakes Peanut Butter Pie! And it (of course) was amazing. If you haven’t already heard, Zoë has a new television series on the @magnolianetwork (which is on @discoveryplus ). Her show highlights her baking and teaching, and also features some bakers and makers in the Minnesota community (you may even spot me in an episode pan-banging!) I highly recommend tuning in and watching- I always learn something new when I’m around Zoë, and her show is no exception. The first episode is streaming now (and features pie!) ❤️❤️ Recipe for the peanut butter pie is on Zoë’s site!
Brownie cookies (#9) from 100 Cookies. I made thes Brownie cookies (#9) from 100 Cookies. I made these a little different - I used 1 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar (instead of 1 1/4 cup granulated) and then refrigerated the dough overnight. In the morning I let the dough come to almost room temperature (it’s zero degrees here in Minneapolis so everything in my kitchen is slightly chilled). I formed them slightly bigger (3 tablespoons instead of 2) and baked them 12 minutes (sides set and middles puffed and forming cracks). I also used @guittardchocolate ‘s cocoa rouge cocoa powder which made them a slightly different shade. ❤️❤️❤️

I just wanted to pop in to say that these pan-bang I just wanted to pop in to say that these pan-banging cookies pictured are gluten-free, made with @kingarthurbaking ‘s measure for measure flour!! I recently did a @cherrybombe cookie panel, and @lanihalliday mentioned that this flour was a great option for home bakers (@lanihalliday is a fabulous gf baker so hop over to her Instagram and check out her work/bakery). I’ve had a lot of questions about gf flour and finally had a moment to try one out. My sister-in-law, who is gf, also gave them two thumbs up. Also!
