Hi Janet – Sorry you had trouble with this crust. I’ve made it quite a bit over the last few years and haven’t ever had this happen. Did you change anything in the recipe? And what kind of flour/butter did you use?

The whole “crust” just melted into a burnt puddle of butter in a very short time. What a mess! A waste of 10 Tbsp of good butter! I ended up with roast grapes and no crust.
