I love the Blue Heron! Made these scones last week as is and they were absolutely delicious. Trying them today with toasted almonds and almond extract instead of the ginger. Can’t wait to see how they turn out.

These scones are perfection. The ingredients and method make the most delicate, flakey, soft, crunchy scone imaginable. The best I’ve ever had. I made them last summer and have been thinking of them ever since – so I just made them again. I always look forward to your posts. Thank you!

You know how some recipes you print and don’t make for years and others you make immediately? I made these this week. My husband brings his breakfast to work with him and I know I have a winner when I receive a text from him. This one said “these scones are awesome!”
