These double apple scones look absolutely delicious! I love that you've incorporated both fresh apples and apple cider for that extra burst of flavor. Can't wait to try making them this weekend!

Hello!

I am planning to make these for a Sunday morning brunch. I see that you indicate these can be frozen; but if I make these the night before, do you think I could refrigerate them? And if so, how best to wrap them? I am concerned that they won’t be as fluffy, and that the apples might affect the dough in the fridge. Just trying to sort through the logistics of this. Any tips you might have would be much appreciate! :)

Sensational. Delicious scones. I have my own basic recipe but this is so delicious and light and flaky and all the good things. I however, was convinced that the ingredient of apple cider was actually apple cider vinegar (that I just happened to have in my pantry) and that's what I cooked my apples in. LOL what a dumby I am. Anyway I just added a spoon of brown sugar and some vanilla to cover the vinegar flavour. It was fine and to be honest the dough is so delicious it didn't matter one bit.
